Integrasi Kurikulum Cinta dalam Pembelajaran Fiqih untuk Membangun Karakter Spiritual Peserta Didik

This study aims to analyze the integration of the Love Curriculum in Fiqh learning and its role in developing students’ spiritual character. The Love Curriculum is understood as an educational approach that emphasizes compassion, empathy, mutual respect, and spiritual awareness as the foundation of the learning process. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving Fiqh teachers, students, and school administrators as key informants. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, including lesson plans, syllabi, and school activity records. The data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure validity. The findings reveal that the integration of the Love Curriculum is reflected in both the planning and implementation of Fiqh learning. Teachers successfully incorporated cognitive, affective, and spiritual goals into their instructional design, utilizing humanistic and dialogical approaches that foster warm, respectful, and emotionally supportive learning environments. Values such as love, empathy, cooperation, and social responsibility were effectively internalized through contextual learning activities connected to daily life. The study also found significant improvements in students’ spiritual character, including increased awareness in worship, higher empathy toward peers, and a stronger ability to relate Fiqh teachings to real-life practice. Although several challenges were identified—particularly related to teachers’ understanding and limited institutional support—these obstacles did not hinder overall implementation. Overall, the Love Curriculum contributes meaningfully to strengthening spiritual character education within Islamic schools.
