PGMI Scientific Journal Volume 2, Number 2, Year 2025 presents eight scholarly articles examining instructional innovation and character education within the context of Islamic primary education. The topics addressed include the internalization of environmental awareness through science learning, the implementation of STEM-based biology instruction, the integration of character education in PGMI learning, physical activity–based learning models, the use of regional languages and Indonesian language proficiency, strategies for strengthening the value of mutual cooperation through the P5 Project, the use of English flash card media for early childhood learners, and the role of diagnostic assessment in improving Aqidah Akhlak learning in the era of the Independent Curriculum. This issue aims to contribute to academic discourse and promote innovative, contextual, and sustainable pedagogical practices.
The PGMI Scientific Journal Volume 1, Number 2, Year 2025 features eight scholarly articles that explore key issues in Islamic elementary education. This edition particularly highlights the readiness of PGMI lecturers to integrate 21st-century curriculum frameworks into teaching practices within Islamic higher education institutions. Other topics discussed include the implementation of differentiated instruction in inclusive classrooms, the development of student discipline through positive habits, enhancement of numeracy skills through diagnostic assessments, and the internalization of tolerance and Pancasila values using interactive digital media.
Published by the Department of PGMI, STIT Makrifatul Ilmi South Bengkulu, this edition aims to contribute to the academic discourse on Islamic primary education while promoting innovative and contextually relevant pedagogical practices in response to contemporary educational challenges.
