About the Journal

El-Makrifah PGMI: Journal of Islamic Education and Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published regularly by the Department of Primary School Teacher Education (PGMI), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Makrifatul Ilmi, located at Jl. Merapi No. 99, Kota Manna, South Bengkulu, Indonesia. The journal is managed by the LPPM of STIT Makrifatul Ilmi through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform as part of the institution’s commitment to the dissemination of digital, open-access scholarly knowledge.

EL MAKRIFAH PGMI, Volume 4, Number 1 (2026), presents eight scholarly articles addressing contemporary issues in primary Islamic education, including language studies, digital literacy, Artificial Intelligence-based learning and assessment, science education, the Pancasila Student Profile, local culture, and Augmented Reality-supported instruction.

These contributions reflect the growing importance of innovative and interdisciplinary approaches in improving the quality of teaching, learning, and educational research in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
